CALLING ALL DCPA/DSA ALUMNI!

As we celebrate 25 years of the DeKalb School of the Arts, we are creating a documentary to honor the incredible legacy of our school and the impact of arts education. We want YOU—our alumni—to be a part of this special project by submitting a short video interview sharing your memories, experiences, and insights.

Your stories will help showcase the power of the arts and the lasting influence of DCPA/DSA. Whether you were part of DCPA in its early days or a more recent graduate, your voice matters.

How to Participate:

Record a short video answering the questions below, following the provided recording guidelines. Then, submit your video by April 15th using the link at the end of this post.

Deadline for submissions: April 15th

Interview Questions

(When answering, please repeat the question in your response. Example: "My name is Jane Doe, I graduated in 2010, and my major was Dance.")

  1. What is your name, what year did you graduate, and what was your major?
  2. What was your fondest memory of your time at DSA or DSPA?
  3. Why do you think the arts are an important part of a student's education?
  4. What are some things you learned at the school that prepared you for the life you currently have?
  5. If you could describe DCPA/DSA in three words, what would they be?
